한국 노키아에서 엔지니어를 구인중이다. 몇명 되지도 않는 엔지니어들 충원하면서 항상 왜 그렇게 조용히 하는지 모르겠다. 이번에도 달랑 자칭 '스마트폰 관련 비즈니스 인텔리전스 사이트'를 표방하는 스마트폰 나우 구인 게시판에만 광고를 하였다. 사람을 뽑겠다는건지, 내정자가 이미 있는건지, 관심있는 사람만 도전해보라는 것인지는 잘 모르겠다.
스마트폰 나우는 스마트폰 업계 소식을 전달하기 위한 사이트로 회원제로만 운영된다. 그거 하나 보려고 사이트를 전부 가입하기에는 부담이 될테니 아래에 구인 공고를 옮겨보았다. 한국에서 노키아가 무슨 의미가 있을런지는 모르겠으나, Nokia라는 이름만으로 모바일쟁이들에게는 군침을 삼킬만한 소식일 수도 있을 듯 하다. 밑져봐야 본전이니..
구인 공고를 보니 모바일쟁이 뿐만 아니라 예전 QT에 대한 경험이 있는 분도 도전해도 될 것이다. 다만, 수석급을 모집한다고 하니 경력이 대충 15년 정도 되는 분들만 가능할 듯.

Basic Purpose
Works as a customer services team member or an individual technical consultant. Assignment comprises; for-fee product analysis, work breakdown and specifications, architecture and optimization workshops, on site engineering work. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on securing customer success in using Qt Software products. Duties may be performed in-house or at customer's site. Operates under minimal supervision on projects usually involving single products or single platforms. Reports to Customer Service APAC Manager or, in his absence, to the Head of Customer Service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
50% Scopes complex projects, sometimes involving multi-product integrations. Work effort focus is primarily on securing customer success in using Qt Software products.
- Analyzes or Proposes customers' project requirements.
- Works closely with Sales, Customer Service APAC Manager, Product Management and Engineering Resources to lead Scoping activities such as Work Breakdown and Estimations and contribute to Requirements Specifications, Architecture Design and other project documentation deliverables
- Works Closely with Customer Service APAC Manager, Sales and Legal to produce accurate SOW documents.
20% Acts as a technical expert for Sales Support and liaison purposes between customers and company.
20% Maintains Engineering Skills
- Undertakes customer product enhancements and demo creation for regional exhibitions.
- Undertakes the delivery of Internal and External Training and Consultancy workshops on a for-fee services basis.
10% Works in a Project Management/Broker Capacity with Qt Software Customer Service and Nokia partners.
